Spectacular Northern Light Harp!

New, right out of the Box!

This totally one-of-a-kind custom harp was designed and built for a harpist in Alaska, who wanted to have her harp to convey the Magic and Splendor of the Northern Lights. The owner has never played it, and must find it a new home to cover family expenses.

The built-in lighting system allows you the player, to change the intensity and color of lights shining on, and through your harp`s sound board, while you are playing it. And of course this harp can be played  just acoustically, with no amplified sound or lights on at all.

This unique and very special harp is fully acoustic-electric, with Individual RMC string transducers, and stereo or mixed mono outputs.  It is 36 strings, with C to C note range, and  near-pedal tension gut strings, with Lyon & Healy Performance Levers.

It is built from all solid Oregon Myrtle wood and Engelmann Spruce construction.

Eight halogen min-spot lights are embedded in the harp pillar, with color gels over them. Colors can be changed by switching the gels. Fiber optic lights shine through Austrian crystals set in star/constellation patterns in the sound board. The sound board is painted with interference pigments, to represent the colors of the Northern Lights. All the lights are controlled via a AC/DC power box with on/off/dimmer switches., that allow the light sto be set at any level, and turned on and off with ease.

The sound board is decorated with painted colors of the northern lights, with Austrian crystas set as stars and star constellations, with fiber optics back lighting many of them.

The sound system can be plugged directly into any sound or recording equipment with incredible sound quality.

Harp comes complete with a airplane hard shell,  Blue colored Colorado Case, and custom tuning key.

$9,800  Shipping extra. Shipping will be from Phoenix Oregon, near the California state line.

Walnut Queen Mary style Wire strung Harp

Thirty one stings, bronze wire harp, carved and engraved in the combined  styles of the ancient "Queen Mary" , and "Brian Boru" harps. Note range is first octave A, down to F below the C, below middle C.

All solid Black Walnut, with brass work on the neck, and hand made bronze string shoes on the soundboard. The soundboard and sides of the sound box, are extensively engraved with the same designs as the "Queen Mary " harp.

The full ringing sound is very beautiful.  String spacing is a tiny bit wider than traditional wire, so it can be played with either finger tips or finger nails.
